Standard Terms & Conditions of ‘Holiday Rental”
The terms & conditions of the holiday rental agreed to by both parties are as follows and variations to the same by tenant may permit access to keys being denied, charges amended or request to immediately terminate the occupancy.
Security deposit
- A security deposit of $200 must be paid within 7 days after Terms and Conditions form is signed and received. The security deposit will be refunded in full at the end of the month of your departure, provided all ‘Terms & Conditions’ are complied with. A further ‘Deposit of 50% of accommodation price is payable within 10 days. Further payments can be made in instalments at your choice, to complete full payment prior to occupancy.
Balance of Tariff
- Christmas and January bookings require payment in full by 20th of November. Easter bookings require payment in full by 1st of March (including school holiday periods at these times).
- For off peak bookings balance of tariff is required prior to collection of keys on arrival.
Cancellations
- A cancellation fee of $25.00 applies to all cancellations under any circumstances.
Refunds
- In the event of cancellation by the tenant, the security deposit is non-refundable unless the property is rebooked for the entire period.
- At high season an additional cancellation fee of 15% of the total rent will be required if a cancellation notice is not received 30 days prior to arrival date.
Arrival/departure times
- Check-in time is 2:00pm on the day of arrival and the premises must be vacated by 10:00am on the day of departure. We recommend you confirm your departure day during your stay. Failure to vacate the premises may result in additional charges, or your possessions being removed to a secure location to enable incoming guests to arrive.
- A call out fee of $35.00 will apply for staff call outs.
Pets
- Pets are not allowed on the property.
No Smoking Policy
- In the interest of health and hygiene smoking is not allowed inside the premises.
Guest responsibilities
- The number of occupants, including children, must not exceed the maximum number of people stated on the booking agreement form signed by you.
- As the guest you are responsible for damages, breakages and any losses during your stay. Please report any damage or breakages promptly. Please do not enter any areas designated as private by the owners.
- Guests are requested to leave the property in a similar condition to how it was found. Excess cleaning costs (including dishwashing) will otherwise apply.
- Garbage should be placed in the bins provided and put out for collection on Sundays.
- No responsibility is taken by the owner for the tenant’s property.
Inclusions
- The property is fully self contained –Not Serviced- and does not include personal consumables. Sheets, pillowcases, doonas, blankets, tea towels, toilet paper, kitchen items are provided.
